Looking back at the load era with my friend Lee Gamilla, guest hosting the show me we watched this video a bunch of listeners of the show sent me this this is a a YouTube

channel called a darker standard and they described themselves as an alternative music review

and retrospective channel with an in-depth look on albums and moments all across the spectrum of

music style and popularity. Yeah, like maybe 20 people sent me this, like ask me what I think,

because his video is entitled, Metallica Falters the story of load and reload. And it's about

27 to 30 minutes long, me and Lee Gamilla, who's also kind of a load air cap.

Burn it down. As you can imagine, we talk about all the stuff that comes along with talking about

the load era, the change in style, the change in aesthetic. Are they country rock albums?

Are they alternative albums? Did they falter? You can imagine where we land on that, but we just sort

to take the video piece by piece. And it sparked some interesting conversation about then and about now.

And it was good to, after being in M72 era, you know, 72 seasons era, it was cool to go back

a little bit to those mid-90s, sweet, sweet years and kind of unpack some load stuff.

So that's what the bulk of the episode is going to be.
