1:21.4	So let's start, verse 22.
1:23.1	It reads this way immediately, Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to
1:29.1	the other side while he dismissed the crowds. Now, I guess starting off there demands a little
1:35.3	context. If you remember last week, we talked about Jesus feeding the 5,000 people in reality,
1:42.3	probably many, many more thousands than the 5,000 people.
1:45.9	And right after that is where this passage comes.
1:50.2	And it says immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side while he dismissed the crowds.
1:56.7	And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray.
2:02.3	Now, if we remember before the feeding of the 5,000, before this sort of massive interruption,
2:10.4	Jesus has just found out that John the Baptist has died and has been executed.
