Ben, we continue to trundle through here

under somewhat difficult and sometimes depressing circumstances, but lo and behold, we've got

some actual mixed martial arts news to discuss this week on the CME. Just as we begin to record here,

it breaks across our timelines that UFC 249 is apparently still a go. And

UFC President Dana White is now confirming that we have signed Tony Ferguson versus Justin Gachey

for the main event of this thing. That fight will be for the interim lightweight title. However,

you know, White notes here in his tweet,

we still don't know exactly where this will happen. All he says, it will happen somewhere,

and this is in all caps on Earth. What's your take here as we open up this episode? That's reassuring. For everybody who was worried about interplanetary travel being necessary for this one,

or maybe some kind of like international space station type setting, have no fear. We're going to do this one right on our home planet.

So I guess that narrows it down somewhat. Here's the thing I'm wondering about, though.

My dude, Tony Ferguson, he got baited in again by that interim lightweight title offer.
