I'm here with Mike Kazmer, and today we've got a guest.

Chris Mandel has been in the mountain bike industry for all the years,

and he spent the last six at Rock Shocks

with the title of Rear Shock Product Manager, which means that he knows a thing or two about springs

and dampers. Chris, I've known you for a long time, but I got that description off your LinkedIn

page about three minutes before we started recording this. Is it accurate?

I didn't even know I had a LinkedIn page.

Yeah, it is, it is, well, it's, we'll modify it a little bit.

So I've been with rock shots for coming up on five years.

For four, four and a half years, I was the rear shop product manager based in Colorado Springs,

Colorado. For a number of different reasons, I needed to move back to my hometown of

Bellingham, Washington. And when I did that, my role changed. And I am now the North American

PR media relations person.

So long history and suspension and product development, now working more on the side of

Markham, marketing and communications.

Yeah.

And if we go back even farther to that, you had some hand in the development of

Kona's trail, enduro, and downhill bikes as well.

Yeah, so prior to working at Rockshopsram, I was the sort of like trail downhill

and douro bike product manager at Kona Bites
