Summary

The Netflix documentary "The Social Dilemma" gives a unique perspective on social media from many of the creators of these apps... and it's NOT good news! Social media is watching everything you do and predicting exactly what you'll do next. The creators of this Frankenstein explain how it works and why they're very concerned for us. 0:23.7

haven't heard, if you've been living under a rock, there is a documentary put out by Netflix

that they're playing off a fear or playing off some sort of a feeling that they had that wasn't being

1:37.0

met. And so you're you're always looking at it as manipulative. And you know this as a marketer

1:41.9

that you're selling people product that they may or may not really need.

1:45.1

And this is what I knew ahead of time, but going into it and thinking about it in terms of social media and how we and our attention is the product being sold.

1:56.5

It was strangely eye-opening.
