Hello, Pinkers, I'm Mike Levy, and today we've got a bit of a bonus pink pod. We're going to dive

into a big review that Pink Bike Editor Dan Roberts, he's been working on it for a while.

Fox's all-new 38 versus Rockshocks as equally all new Zeb.

And in case you missed it, both of these are long travel single crown forks with huge 38mm diameter

upper tubes. So I've got the man himself here, Dan Roberts, who's ridden the shit out of both the 38 and

the Zeb, as well as Mike Kazimer, who's also put in shit out of both the 38 and the Zeb, as well as Mike

Casimir, who's also put in a bunch of time on both of these forks.

I'm going to throw a bunch of questions at both of them, and then we're going to boil it down

to the strength and weaknesses of each fork.

But first, Dan, you are a relatively new addition to Pink Bike, and you're also literally an engineer,

not even an armchair one, but a real one, who's also pretty damn fast on a bike.

Where did you do your testing of these two forks?

And maybe just give me a brief breakdown of what that was.

Was it back-to-back testing?

And what sort of terrain were you

riding these forks on? Yeah. We, well, I live in the Valley region of Switzerland. So it's a

pretty, even among Switzerland, it's renowned as a really good riding region. And basically,

I live in shopperies. So behind the house is one of the toughest world

cup tracks probably of recent memories I've heard it's a little steep it can be in places yeah

uh I with an upcoming downhill bike test I actually looked at the gradient and it was like minus

35 percent average with some pictures

that were like minus 50% or something.
