Another year, another COP. As the UN climate talks concluded in Dubai, for the first time ever a “transition away from fossil fuels” has been mentioned in the final text, but calling for a win would be a clear overstatement. The text has the oily fingerprints of the fossil fuel lobby all over it. 1:00.3	Yeah, so COP 28 in Dubai in the UAE.
1:03.9	There was a historic agreement, a historic outcome where they agreed to transition away from fossil fuels, the first time ever in
1:13.2	what we're at now, COP 28. So in 28 years, the first time ever such language has been used
1:18.8	around fossil fuels, you know? The last two COPs, we had sort of phasing down coal or unabated
1:26.2	coal, which is pretty like narrow.
1:29.7	And this is the first time all fossil fuels have been mentioned in a UN text like this.
