You should be because it is a very scary thing for a parent to let their kid have that kind of autonomy and freedom. I know, Ashley, you have one that in a year will be doing driver's ed. And so do I. My number three will be doing driver's ed next year. So we're still anticipating a few more drivers in our houses.

And I, going through this process, I really had a lot of questions to ask you, Dr. Ken.

There are a lot of things that have come up that I love some answers to. And I know that other parents must be having the same questions.

I know that some kids are really excited about driving. Others

sort of dreaded or they're fearful of being on the road or they're busy, they're nervous.

There's one reason or another. They don't really want to get their driver's license. They found rides

other ways. So for those kids, should we push our kids to drive if they're nervous or if we don't

feel like they're ready to learn to drive? Well, I think that's a great question because the other

reason that people that kids used to seek to drive is because it was, I think, one of the

unofficial markers of adulthood. And I have certainly teenagers that are anxious.
