This is number 51 being recorded from the Sunshine Coast where we are in the middle of doing the next

field test. But this podcast, it's all about mountain bike media and spy shots. So the

question that we're going to try to answer today, should mountain bike media post spy shots?

The gist here is that we're going to chat about what we, pick bike, do when we get our pause

on photos of bikes that aren't supposed to be seen yet. In other words,

photos of prototype bikes that aren't released yet and that whatever company made them definitely

doesn't want you to see it yet. The thing here is, we want to show you that prototype bike because

it's kind of our job, you know? Sometimes it's not that simple, of course,

and there are certainly some valid reasons why the company doesn't want that bike to get

shown. We're going to cover those as well. We'll explain how embargoes work, why sometimes there's

an embargo, why sometimes there isn't, and all that stuff. First, though, if you want to hear

some people angry. What's your favorite prototype that you've posted?

That's been a lot.

I think one that I remember is that nomad a few years ago.

I mean, it was that 2017.

That definitely like raised some, uh, it caused some angry emails and photo,

or no phone calls and things, but yeah, that was one that definitely bike.

That bike, we got a photo of it well before that bike was released.
