Oh, hey, everybody. Welcome to the Krebscast. I'm your host, Charlie Barron's coming to you from

the conference room at the Holiday Inn in Hayward, Wisconsin. Actually, I'm up on vacation this week,

which has been pretty sweet, been doing my brother Billy caught a musky. Okay, and I don't want to

go out and be mad when somebody catches a musky. But I will say that we had the dog with us,

and I told Billy, I said, Billy, you know what, we'll take the dog in our boat today because,

you know, you just got up here, you got to focus on figuring out the boat, you know, and everything

like that. And so I give them a break. I say, we'll take the dog in our boat. And he goes out and

catches the first musky and to date the only musky of the trip. So folks, I'm steaming right now,

but honestly, you're supposed to be happy for people when they catch a musky. And I know that

logically, I'm just still trying to process it emotionally. Congrats on your fish, Billy.

I'm going to get back out there. And honestly, now he's fishing right now. Well, I went to the

holiday end to get internet service because I just got the pleasure of interviewing one of my favorite

comedians, Roy Wood Jr. I've been a fan of him for years. His work on the daily show also

is stand-up specials. He has a few years ago, I stumbled upon these prank calls that he used to do

on the radio. So really great guy. And actually, I want to say about a month ago, sometime in April,

I think, Roy Wood Jr. myself in Cishir Zimada did a show at Marquette University for the

graduating senior. So we got a chance to connect briefly then and ask him to come on the podcast.

And such a great guy. So we talked about a number of things on here, which advice for up-and-coming

comedians? I get a lot of people requesting sort of information on how do I do what you do.

And I give some of my advice in this podcast, but Roy actually does just a great job of

dialing down on what you can do to create content. Because that's what's really about these days.

It's creating content in order for you to sell tickets to become a stand-up. So we discuss that.
