I hope you well hope you and yours are keeping safe and sound, well of mind and of body in these

strange weird times that we're still living in. It's an international break of course.

Interlull week, we're all sitting hoping and praying and keeping things crossed that our

players come back safe and sound from their travels, no injuries, no aches or strains or anything

like that. I do suspect however there's going to be a little bit of fatigue you know because some

of these guys are scheduled to play three games in a week, not just the senior players like the

the under 21 players Eddie and Caddy and Emil Smith row who are away with England under 21. So I've

got three games this week, Marno de Garth three games with Norway, I mean, E may or may not play in

all of them depending on how serious the little injury he got the other day is but like the schedule

lends itself to having an impact on the clubs and the players when they come back you know three

games in six days, seven days. It's a lot and I know the season is condensed and I know why and we

all know why but I do wonder if there were things we could have done differently to you know to

protect the players a little bit more because we'll hear from the authorities from the people that

run the game you know FIFA and you wafer and all of those things and they'll say something like

player welfare is our chief concern but you know we know it's it's not what was that Stephen

King book the running man it's a bit like them saying that player welfare is their chief concern

if you don't know what the running man is you could google it I guess but a quick summary is

as far as I can remember off the top of my head it's that way in the future in a dystopian future

is probably like 2020 when it's set because that seemed far away when he wrote this in the 1980s

and everything is terrible and there's pollution and you know the workers are like
