Now, this episode, I kind of whipped together in about a day, so bear with me, but I really wanted to talk about this particular subject and how it relates to current events.

So I put the two or three scripts that I've been working on on the back burner for a sec to work on this particular episode.

As with all episodes regarding mass shootings, I will be using the shooter's name as little as possible,

with the exception in this episode of several quotes regarding his behavior in the months prior to the incident.

Episode 68.

The Welding Shop Shooting.

August 20th, 1982. Eight deceased, three injured.

I don't want to say his name, but he was the worst teacher I ever had. His tests were

impossible to study for. His behavior was strange, but even worse, he would occasionally throw things at

students who were bothering him. Sometimes it was just erasers or pencils, sometimes books.

Once it was an empty desk flung across the room at the head of a kid who'd been joking around

a little too much. Looking back, I can't imagine him armed,

and frankly, I don't want to. But after the shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in

Parkland, Florida, on Valentine's Day, which left 17 people dead, some people have come up
