All right, Steve. This is a big week in soprano land. Yes, it is.

A really, really big week. This Friday, October 1st, the many

Saints of Newark, a soprano story will be in theaters and on HBO Max.

And you know, David, I worked on this for four years. People have been waiting

for years because of COVID. It got pushed a few times, but it is here. Ready to go.

An incredible cast. The story is great. We both saw the movie. We love the movie. If you're a

soprano fan, this is a must see. And if you're not a soprano fan, or for some reason, you've been

on some other planet and haven't seen the sopranos, you want to go see this movie.

Yeah, you don't necessarily have to watch the series to get this movie

understanding it and like it. Although, if you do love the stories, you will enjoy it even

that much more. The many Saints of Newark, in essence, is really the origin story of Tony

soprano, revealed through the storyline of his mentor, Dickey Multisante, the man who made him.

Dickey also happens to be the father of Christopher Multisante. This story explores the complex

relationships within the infamous soprano mob family. As only David Chase can do, David Chase

wrote it. It's directed by Alan Taylor, who directed many of the greatest soprano episodes.

It's set in 1968 and 1973. So it's a standalone story, really. Although there are, you know,

there are threads, there's mythology, there's nods to the series. It really is its own thing.

The cast is just fantastic. Great season actors. The costumes are great. The action is great.

It's a mob genre film if you're into that, which most people that I know are. This is a

mob. It's a really great movie. It comes out this Friday, October 1st, the many Saints of Newark.
