Thank you very much indeed, as always, for being here.

This morning we're going to talk about our nil-nill-nill draw with

Nottingham Forest at the city ground last night. Not the most exciting game you'll ever see,

and obviously one in the current context, which feels a bit, I don't know if anti-climactic

is the right way of putting it, but certainly as Liverpool run away with the title and we, having lost to West Ham and dropped a couple more points last night, even if I think in context last night's point was not the worst in the world, fall further behind.

The season that we all hope for, of course, has not transpired the way we would have wanted.

But that is to come in a couple of minutes' time.

I did just want to talk to you a little bit about today and what today is.

To you, it might be nothing much, nothing special, just a regular old Thursday, another day at work, whatever that might be.

For ArsBlog, though, it is a bit of a landmark day.

It is the 23rd birthday of Arsblog.com.

This day, 23 years ago, in a small town called Villanova I La Geltru, outside of Barcelona in Spain. I sat down on my computer

and I uploaded the very first ArsBlog post to arseblog.com. Obviously, a lot has happened in the

meantime. I can't really go into all of it because there's, well, 23 years worth of stuff on the

pitch and off the pitch and on the pitch and off the

pitch and on the site and off the site but here we are here we are and here you are hopefully

listening to this you will remember on last week's arscast there was a competition for those in the

UK to win some beer from indie rattle brewery and we'll give you the winners of that contest a little

bit later on. But I didn't want to just do a contest or a competition for people in the UK. I wanted
