Our guest this week is my good friend Suzanne Wainwright Evans, also known by many as The Bug Lady.

She is an ornamental entomologist

specializing an integrated pest management. Suzanne has been involved in the green industry for

more than 25 years with a primary focus on biological control and using pesticides properly.

She is a graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in both entomology and environmental

horticulture. She has worked throughout the United States and internationally consulting to

greenhouses, nurseries, landscapers, and interior scape companies. She is the owner of Bug Lady

consulting now in business for over 21 years. Now on to the show. Hey, Suzanne, welcome back to the show. Hey, I'm super excited to be here. I love

chatting with you and I love all your peeps. Yeah, no, I'm excited to. And I think we have some

wonderful topics to go over for today. Starting off with talking about some new products and innovations that have happened in

bio controls since the last time you're on the show.

Yeah, there's some really new exciting things happening, and it's not often that we get

new products in biocontrol because the biocontrol industry, and right now we're going to

talk more about

macro biocontrols which are your mites insects and nematodes they are heavily regulated by the

USDA you cannot just rear bugs and ship them around so we typically don't get actually new species of beneficiaries, which we don't have any new

beneficiaries that are assigned, but what we have is new technologies for the current

beneficiaries that we have.

And there is this new product for applying nematodes, which I'm super excited about. It's still really, really, really new.
