Thanks for taking my question. Many of us find ourselves in the position of defending science

on Facebook and in public conversation. And I think many times that becomes a conflict between the world the way we can verify it is and the world the way people would prefer it would be.

And so it becomes a tough sell. You are somebody who has been successful at persuading people

to choose the truth.

What's your secret?

Okay, great question.

My secret is I am just a really really manipulative person.

It drives me crazy because I have this very intentional vulnerability.

And the people who are closest to me

say I'm manipulative.

So my wife is like, you're super manipulative.

I'm like, what are you talking about?

I used to be manipulative because I wouldn't create an emotional

response in people to get what I want. But now I don't do that. Now I create an emotional response

in people so they'll get what they want.

That's totally different.
