Flashback Friday. Hello and welcome to another flashback week. This week's story is Trixie and the Pandas of Dread by Uji Foster. I was thinking

about Uji today and realized it's been almost 10 years since she died of

lymphoma. I would run into her Dragon Con and she was always kind and friendly supportive of a baby writer and the genre stuff suffered greatly when she died at 42 years old.

Her story, When It Ends, He Catches Her, was published in daily science fiction the day before her death, and reprinted by Pseudopod in 2016, and was nominated for the 2015 Nebula Award.
