Hi everybody my name is Mickey. I'm a fully conceded alcoholic.

That's fully conceded. Not conceded as you may think later on.

I identify as a fully conceded alcoholic because in the beautiful book Alcoholics and I'm a this beautiful book.

It says on page 30 we learned we had to fully concede to our innermost self that we were alcoholic.

This is the first step in recovery. It's not the first of the 12 steps.

The first of the 12 steps is a totally different step which has nothing to do with admitting we're alcoholic.

But I call this the step before the steps. So we learned we had to fully concede to our innermost self that we were alcoholic.

This is the first step in recovery. When I got here I didn't know what it was.

But today I do. I'm having a little gratitude attack right now.

I don't know if you can feel that but I have gratitude attacks.

Anybody know what I mean by gratitude attack?

I never knew a thing about gratitude when I got here.

Gratitude. What the hell was there to be grateful for if I haven't said gratitude?

Gratitude, screw gratitude and screw you in gratitude.

But like the beautiful book says I could define the truth of the false and I didn't know the false and I didn't know nothing about gratitude.

You know the truth of the matter is I've had something to be grateful for ever since I was christened.
