Bryce Harper admitted something the other day.

He said, and I believe him, I don't think Bryce Harper has any reason to lie,

that he's willing and was willing to move back to the outfield.

Remember he's moved to first base and he's made a very successful conversion to it.

He was willing to move back to right field if the Philly signed Pete Alonzo.

And I see that, and my stomach dropped even though they didn't sign Peter Arzo.

Even though Peter Alonzo is not a Philadelphia, Philly, I started to think about that lineup.

I started to think about Bryce's willingness to do it.

I started to think of Sequin Barclay, I admit it, and I started to think of what I would

have said on the radio that day that Pete Alonzo signed a fictitious three-year contract with

the Phillies, flaws and all.

I would have had to have said the same thing that Tiki Barber said, and I never wanted

to say it, but the same holds true.

Right.

You're dead to us.

And I am so glad that the Phillies didn't listen to Bryce Harper.

I'm glad that the Phillies said, nah, we're good.

Pete sucks.

He's a stiff defensively.

He's this.

He's that.

Whatever they thought. Or we just didn't want to spend the money on him.
