I think people are aware of what happened, but my perspective on why it happened, I think,

is a little bit different. So on Thursday, we all went to the MECA and Juan Soto did not play very

well and it was kind of mixed signals from us on if he got booed or not. I was in the building.

I didn't think he got booed. Tiki was eventually in the building. He didn't think he got booed. Nope.

But Hallie Rose on the radio broadcast said, wow, they're booing Juan Soto. So it wasn't a full-throttled boo, but we heard murmurs.

On Friday, there were booze.

Yes. I was in the building, and I heard it. And I even heard a murmur back from fans that were not happy with their fellow Met fan for booing.

So after Juan Soto grounded out in the first inning, it was a small boo.

When he grounded out in the third, I heard it very, very clear.

I'm not sure how that came across on TV or how it came across the radio, but there

were loud booze. But I noticed something fascinating over the next two winnings. There was a buzz in the

ballpark from Met fans angry at their fellow Met fans for booing. And so what happened next was

completely organic. It was not because someone talked about it on talk radio, whether it was us

or anyone else. It was not because of a Twitter thing. It was literally an organic decision from

Met fans at City Field. That's why I thought it was so unique. When Juan Soto came up in the fifth

inning, he received the standing ovation. Oh, do we love Soto?
