And today, I'm joined by Dr. Jade MacGlynn of the Department of War Studies at King's College London, dialing in from Ukraine,

But first, the latest military and political developments of the past 24 hours.

The snowstorm that blanketed Kiev this week has now pushed south, sweeping across much of the country

and reportedly affecting military operations on several fronts.

In Herzogne and Mikhailiev, April usually brings a daily high of 16 degrees Celsius, that's 61 degrees Fahrenheit, six to seven hours of sunshine and no snow at all. Not today. Both regions are facing very serious weather conditions indeed. Now, I'll come to the air war shortly, but broadly speaking, there has been little
