Mussolini once said in a speech that it is blood which moves the wheels of history, and

while there certainly is some room for an argument there, there's little doubt that history is

indeed filled with blood. While that's quite true for our real-world history, it's even more

so true for the history of the Red Tape series, which has taken extensive looks at the ancient

civilizations of the Deva and the Mechanites.

In the articles covering the great cities of Amunni Rahm and Mamjul and Karar,

we saw the foundation get involved, deeply so in the case of some individuals,

with the histories of these civilizations, which continue to be increasingly relevant in the present day.

Now it's the time for the Nalka, also known as the Sarkites, whose dark past involves

plenty of conflicts with both the Deva and the Mekonites. They do, of course, continue to exist

in some form in the current day, and as usual, history has a tendency to bleed into the present.

Let's take a look.

The document begins with a message exchange between an artificial intelligence construct named Xenophon and an unnamed individual.

Xenophon states that it is confused, as this is unfamiliar, but the individual tells it to settle

down and tell them what it knows about itself.

Xenophon writes that it is a Gen 9 AIC developed aboard RISA Site 7 in a classified location in the North Atlantic.

Its current uptime is 3 minutes and 45 seconds.

It asks how it knows that, before answering itself by writing that it's because it's designed to know things,

so that's a stupid question.

The individual tells it to not worry about it, and to take its time to see what it still has access to.

Xenophon replies that it is pre-programmed with Level 5 Triad clearance, giving it access to 7,235
