0:09.3	When most people think of an SCP, they think of the SCP itself, like the statue, or the hard-to-destroy reptile,
0:19.2	or other such monsters and anomalies.
0:22.8	While those are concerns to the foundation and need to be contained,
0:27.8	there are also plenty of anomalies that produce their own waste,
0:31.6	as a byproduct of their existence.
0:34.5	And while usually this waste isn't too harmful, it does need to be taken care of.
0:40.3	That process is where the acro-a-matic abatement department comes in, an entire division of the
0:46.3	foundation devoted to handling anomalous waste, as these substances can't simply be flushed down a
0:52.6	toilet or burned away without potential ramifications
0:56.4	down the line, especially if multiple types of waste intermingle.
1:01.8	It's certainly a big problem, and as the foundation grows and more and more SCPs fall
1:07.8	under their purview, the amount of anomalous waste they have to deal with
1:12.0	similarly grows, and it all has to be processed.
1:17.2	The Admonition series of SCP articles deals with the foundation trying out various miraculous
1:23.1	ways to deal with some of their big problems, but discovering that there really are no shortcuts.
