The Wandsman

There are many, many groups of interest within the SCP universe, from simple groups like the FBI's

unusual incidents unit to large-scale ancient groups like the Sarkites and the Mekonites.

Some groups are actively opposed to the SEP Foundation and what they represent, but most just want to go about their own business.

The group we'll be looking at today are in some ways a much smaller and humbler operation than the foundation, and in other ways are operating on a much grander scale.

The Wandsmen are a group of multiversal bird creatures that wield maps allowing them to teleport

across dimensions, which they use to record different stories and distribute them through

newspapers.

Obviously, not something the SCP Foundation agrees with, but

the Wandsmen are a little hard to pin down. Let's take a closer look at how the group operates.

Let's begin by looking at the Wandsman orientation, designed to introduce new Wansmen to the organization.

It begins with the speaker stating that if any of the new members are still experiencing

lingering transformation pains, they can use the marker placed on their maps to easily teleport

back to their beds. The speaker formally welcomes each of them to the Wandsmen,

an organization dedicated to bring in the news and the truth to all those who seek knowledge,

students of all that is and teachers to all who will listen. They have been the multiverse's

best source of information and explanations for untold

eons, and even in these trying times, they remain dedicated to bring in the true stories

of the worlds they explore to the multiverse at large.

The news is a vital institution in a universe as complex as theirs, so they do their best to preserve

and promulgate all the knowledge they can find so that it is not lost to the void.
