And I'm going to start this podcast by bragging, just humor me for a second.

I was recently named to the Forbes top creators list for the second year in a row.

And to say I was on top of the world would be an understatement.

Everybody on my team was congratulating me, random people from college and high school were

commenting on my LinkedIn posts, and my Asian parents even told me they were proud of me.

Shocking, I know. But funny enough, just a few weeks beforehand, I had actually received a

rejection that really, really hurt my feelings. Not only because I felt like I deserved it,

but because I'd put so much time and effort into my work and hearing that know and being rejected

was just such a gut punch. And as many of us have experienced, and I certainly felt firsthand

very recently, life is full of rejection. But oftentimes it takes a setback to create a set up

for something bigger and better. Our guest today is no stranger to rejection, but she's also a

three-time Emmy award-winning TV personality, co-host of the award-winning Lady Gang podcast,

and creator of Superfan, one of the coolest new game shows across television. Everyone,
