and this is the new century version he said my brothers and sisters if people say they have

faith but do nothing their faith is worth nothing.

Can faith like that save them?

You see one reason why I use this translation.

That is a memorable phrase,'t it faith that does nothing is worth nothing true or not

well king james what faith without works is dead or vain.

What, if you read the whole passage, what's dead good for?

What's vain mean?

Useless, empty, good for nothing.

And one reason I want to read it is because folks can get hung up on the term works.
