Summary

Have you ever found yourself captivated by an unexpected discovery that transformed your perspective? That's exactly what happened when I finally watched "The Chosen," a crowdfunded series about Jesus that I'd been hearing about for years. Though late to the phenomenon, my binge-watching journey through all available seasons sparked profound realizations about human nature and faith that I'm compelled to share. What fascinates me most is how human behavior remains fundamentally unchanged acr...

I've got to tell you, my friends, I've been completely obsessed.

0:13.8

I'm late to the party on this show, okay?

0:16.0

Maybe five years or six years late to the party.

0:19.7

But I am obsessed with this series called The Chosen,

0:24.5

which is about the life of Jesus. Now, I know that there are lots of shows or movies that are

0:32.3

made historically around Jesus. They're all very different. I believe the chosen is the most

0:40.2

crowdfunded movie in history. Don't quote me on that in case I'm wrong, but that's what

1:38.1

and a half thousand years ago, does not change. Right, there are people who were jealous.

1:46.4

There are people who are always going to be cynical. There are people who are not going to like it when you succeed, when they notice your

1:51.6

ascension and where they notice that you're special and that you stand out. Jesus might be the most

1:57.0

controversial figure in history. I think the person who we speak about the most around the

2:02.4

world, different religions, I know different takes on Jesus, but essentially what he struggled with,

2:09.9

however, and look, who knows how accurate historically these series get to be, but the gist is there, right? The sentiment, it's all there.

2:20.9

And so it's just astounding to me how human nature doesn't change and how faith is something
