Dr. John Matthias. And in recent weeks, there has been some big updates in a case we have been following from the very beginning, the Jared Brightigan, Shannon Gardner case, also known as the Stampin Up case here at Hidden True Crime, where you can listen to our full case playlist.

We call it the Stampin Up case because the founders of the crafting company Stampin Up, well, they are funding

the murder trials defense. More on that a little bit later. But if you are unfamiliar with this

shocking and heartbreaking saga for a brief background on February 16th, 2022. So exactly three

years ago today at the time of this recording, 33-year-old Microsoft executive and a doting father of four, Jared Bridigan, was murdered in Jacksonville, Florida.

It happened on his way home from dropping his 10-year-old twins off with their mother, Shanna Gardner.

So Jared had just spent the evening with the twins, his son and daughter,

that he shared with his ex-wife Shanna. The evening was also known as date night to the twins,

and they looked forward to this midweek visit with their dad. And sometimes their two younger

half-sisters would come along. Jared, you see, had found love again and remarried Kirsten

bride again after his divorce from Shanna, and the twins after that marriage became big siblings
