If you look at the negotiating posture of this country, all these countries that are running huge

trade surpluses with us have no incentive to rock that boat.

That is Peter Navarro, the Director of Trade for the White House,

tempering fears about a potential trade war.

The Dow climbing 250 points at the highs of the day, but the index closed

much lower, ultimately ending up just over triple digits.

S&P negative for the fourth straight day, the longest losing streak of the year. So has this market gone from buy the dip market to a sell the rippewand guy?

For the last four days, absolutely.

And I thought, listen, I know the doubt closed hiring a day, 100 and some points, but the S&P is what I watch,
