It is election night in America and what could the moment of truth

for the Trump rally be? Well the market is up a whopping 30% since the

president was elected two years ago adding five trillion dollars in market

cap. Americans across the country are heading to

the polls to determine the balance of power in Congress and we are less than an hour

away from the first results.

Aiman Javras is back in the newsroom at election headquarters.

Yeah, hi, Melissa. Let's review the stakes for tonight ahead of the polls closing here in just a couple of

hours, starting with the House of Representatives.

This is where the pundits and a lot of the experts think that the Democrats have an

opportunity for some pickups.

Democrats would need 23 seats here, net, to take control of the House of Representatives from the Republicans.

We'll see whether they can do that or not.

In the Senate, they only that or not in the Senate.

They only need two seats in the Senate net

to take control of that chamber, but because of all the red states

that Democrats are running in this year,

the expectation is for the Senate, ultimately that's going to be a heavier
