Hello everybody it's Paul Charzi here once again with the FBC Track Talk and this time, of course, we are talking about Suzuki in Japan.

A very, very famous track or much love track by most of the drivers out there.

First Grand Prix at Suzuki was in 1987, so not so long ago, at least in my memory anyway, but I guess it was nearly 30 years ago now at this point.

The track had actually been around since the mid-60s but didn't get a spot on the World Championship calendar till that point.

It does have a unique figure-eight configuration, but luckily joined by a bridge otherwise it will probably be a

very short race i'd imagine um so looking at the race distance laps 53 the track configuration

eaks it out to 5.807 kilometers are just a little shorter than the original configuration

due to some reprofiling the corners the race distance should last 307.471 kilometers if you're

keeping track at home which I hope you are lots of fun adding all those numbers up

the lap record right now stands with Kimmy Reikin in 2005 with a 31540.

Poll last year by Nico Rosberg was a 3258, but the race lap was quite a bit off of that
