this coming up on the show today. This political season has been a very interesting one.

And we at the beginning of the year, longtime listeners, you'll recall, regular listeners, you'll recall us, Dan and I talking about sort of the year that was ahead of us and the importance of just sucking it up and voting for Biden. Yeah. And we just kind of wanted to do a little bit of an

update. This was a big political week for America with the Democratic National Convention and there were some highlights and some things.

Just seems like the, things have changed. That felt right to talk about.

So we'll be getting to that.

But first, we have some things that happened this week,

news of the week.

And I'm gonna start with a story from Afghanistan. Oh yeah

great story. All the best stories come from Afghanistan and by best stories I mean some of the most

horrifying yeah dealing with human rights and whatnot but this one sort of tickled me just a little.

Apparently, the Taliban, the government, I suppose, in Afghanistan,

released some stats about this year

and how their sort of enforcement of strict Sharia law is going.

Yeah.
