On New Year's morn, just before 8 o'clock, I'm taking a lovely walk to record my films of the year, as is the yearly tradition now.

But this won't be coming out because the first guest of the year is Jesse Eisenberg.

Oh God, it's a good episode, and it's a good guest.

I'm a huge fan of that gentleman.

And then we would have had the Rob Alton episode, which is also wonderful, someone I'm a huge fan of that gentleman.

And then here we are now for me to go over my films of the year.

So yeah, there's the first one I've recorded in the New Year.

I hope you had lovely festive periods, no doubt a distant memory now. I had a nice festive period,

I think. It's weird. I'm taking the walk I'm taking to record this is a walk I often take Finley, my dog, or every now and then I take Finley. And I always feel like a bit

of a cheat actually, because it's the route that's taken by a local dog walkers. Dogtopia,

shout out Dogtopia. And I time it so I'm going when they're going, because then Finley

gets to walk with like nine or ten other dogs. And's hugely exciting but I always do feel like a bit

of a scammer because obviously every other dog there is paying I mean the dogs aren't paying the

owners of the dogs have paid to be and I'm taking Finley for a walk so I guess I'm doing that bit but

yeah I stumbled upon them by pure chance once and now I just know when they go and where they go.

But, yeah, Finley is one of the reasons of, you know, it's been quite a low-key Christmas. Let's just say that,

because I've not got to see Finley over this festive period. And that's always sad, isn't it?
