Welcome to an episode of the 911 calls podcast that you haven't heard before. It's new, and it's going to be just a bit different.

In this episode, instead of having straight facts about a person,

I'm building this person's entire persona off their Facebook profile.

Why?

Because I searched high and low, reached out to a crap ton of people,

and I had one person respond. Their response was valuable, and I'm so grateful for it,

but it definitely wasn't a life story. Instead, it was one heartfelt line about their friend. It said a mouthful,

as you'll see, but in order to create an entire episode, I need a few more words. So I'm nervous,

but very proud of the work that went into this one, the piecing together of two narratives

that collided one fateful morning in 2023. Let's begin, shall we?

Northwest Austin stands as a testament to the city's rapid technological evolution,

with Research Boulevard serving as its primary artery.

In the early 2000s, back in my early days as a marketing executive,

I spent time at what back then was a relatively new animal in the social and tech world.

It was a convention called South by Southwest, a multi-day festival fueled by nerds, and I fit

ride in.

But I've matured since then into a full-fledged podcaster, and haven't been back to Austin since then. But I hear it's even more
