Summary

Having a team is powerful, but, sometimes, you will be alone, without the team. You must learn to exude strength even when in solitude.

LESSONS:

If you’re following the common path but your gut instinct says NO, then it’s time to live your truth in solitude.
Do not fear starting alone. Do not fear progressing alone.
Look inward to find your truth.
You will and can find strength when you follow the path you were meant to be on.

And the common thing at the time was functional fitness,

0:47.4

where people were doing stuff on one leg

0:50.3

and stability balls and balance boards. And I remember saying to myself I just don't connect with that.

0:57.0

I connected more to doing something like this,

sprinting hills outdoors, carrying tree logs from a tree that we cut down,

lifting stones, training in a garage,

going to live my truth I'm going to be who I am I'm going to write about exactly

1:39.7

what we do and document things we do and I'm not going to do what the others are doing the

1:45.1

common path and I'll tell you people called me an idiot and that's probably some of

1:49.8

the nicest things some people said but looking back on it I could say I lived my truth I did
