they can be especially difficult for members of law enforcement who are out on the job.

While many are able to take off time to spend with their families,

police officers must remain on the job as they serve their community.

The job is a difficult one, and oftentimes officers witness heavy, horrific things

when tasked with protecting others.

All these factors play critical roles in the mental well-being of police,

which can also have an impact on their ability to effectively do their jobs.

That's why one nonprofit is working to change that.

The Community Police Relations Foundation, CPR, works to strengthen the relationship

between officers and their communities in order to combat depression and create a more prosperous

environment. Al Escanazi is the founding chairman and CEO of the CPR Foundation. Today, he joins me
