Here's your host, Chad Young. Hello and welcome to the first pitch podcast. As the men said, my name is Chad Young, filling in on this fine Thursday morning for Scott Chu. The Phillies called up Christopher Sanchez to start against the Reds, and Sanchez pitched quite well, striking out seven while allowing three runs and six hits
1:10.9	over six innings pitched, got a quality start and a win.
1:14.0	He had just eight whiffs and 83 pitches and a 27% CSW, but he was effective enough.
1:18.7	Sanchez was up just to give the Phil's regulars a little extra rest, so I don't expect him
1:22.6	to be around much longer, and if he is, I wouldn't be making a gamble on him.
1:26.4	Josiah Gray, meanwhile, will also get extra rest.
1:29.0	The Nationals announced his next start will be skipped.
1:31.6	Watch for news like this with other young pitchers, especially those not in pennant races.
