lighter weights because I weighed like 115 pounds.

There's a lot of crying, a lot of emotions just because I was so used to lifting these weights and going this fast but I couldn't do that anymore.

Well hello there and welcome back to pursuing health. In this

episode I got to sit down with a very special lady named Sydney Sullivan. At just

15 years old Sydney won her teen division at the Crossit Games back in 2015.

And at that time, very few knew that Sydney was also fighting a serious chronic disease called

Type 2 juvenile autoimmune hepatitis.

This is a rare disease where her body's own immune system began to attack her liver.

Sydney continued to use Crosspit as a way to maintain her strength and her health, but by the 2016 Cross Fit Games, it became very apparent that her health was rapidly declining.

She would eventually go on to have a live donor liver transplant from her brother Tommy.
