Okay, number one.

Somebody said, I'm a 26-year-old woman and my 27-year-old boyfriend and I have been dating for two years.

We've talked about moving in together

when our leases end this summer. While I'm fully ready, he's hesitant. He's never lived alone,

and he really wants to experience it. I've already had that experience, and I know how valuable it can be.

Last year, we had the same conversation, and he decided against moving in together, saying that he

didn't want to move again after only a year in his current place. Now he's taking more time to decide, but I'm frustrated because I feel like this is delaying a

major step in our relationship. I told him it's not an ultimatum because I don't want to break up,

but I'm hurt and worried that I'll resent him if he chooses to live alone instead of with me.

I've also shared how much I want to start building a life together,

coming home to each other, cooking meals, and saving on rent by sharing a place. While I understand

his desire to live alone, I feel like waiting another year is too long. By then, we'll have been

dating for three and a half years, and I'm ready for this next step now. I don't want him to move in

out of guilt or pressure, but I also can't shake the feeling that his decision might be selfish, even if it's not meant to be.

How can I handle this situation if he decides against moving in together?

Well, I would offer him a new solution, right?
