And today we are talking about the Foo Fighters,

one of the most popular hard rock institutions

that has been led for almost three decades by Dave Grohl,

who is nothing, if not the Ted Lasso of Rock and Roll.

Thank you. if not the TED lasso of Rock and Roll. But here we are is the band's 11th record,

and it's the product of a lot of grief,

not only after the death of the band's drummer Taylor Hawkins,

but for Dave Grohl's mother, Virginia, who passed away just a few months after Taylor did.

To talk about the band's long journey to hear where they go next, what is going on with this

record. I'm joined by the Woodward and Bernstein of Pitchwork.
