Well right out of college I became a youth pastor and every summer I used to

love to take my students white water rafting. I was taking the Colorado and we

always go with one of those outfitters that had the rafts and had all the gear

and they had these guides and you would kind of get grouped up by a guide you

would get in their raft and they would take you down the river and then you

would take a bus right home and there was always a debate at the end of the day

among our students as to who had the coolest rafting guide. It would typically

start on the bus someone would be like oh my gosh this year my guide was the

coolest guy and they would say someone else would say like well see that's

weird because I think my guide was cooler for the following reasons and on the

argument would go except for one year when I without question I had the coolest

rafting guide but I didn't think so at first when we first got there he was

splitting people up in rafts and he put all my buddies into one raft and then he

put me in a raft with a bunch of junior high kids and I was like what am I doing

here with these guys like we have nothing in common other than the fact that at

the time we were all single and love video games but beyond that almost nothing

but we got into the raft and it wasn't a few minutes in until we realized we

are not with a normal guide and we realized that because as we roll he would
