Let's dive into everything baseball related from Monday, March 24th.

We'll start it off, as always, with the transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around

the league. We'll start it off with the injuries, as always. Those are the most important news here

in the final week of spring training. Just if you didn't know, spring training or spring training

ends on Wednesday and the regular season begins on Thursday.

So let's get into the injury, starting with first baseman Vinny Pasquantino, who is diagnosed with a grade one plus hamstring strain.

And he's doing everything he can to be ready for opening day, but the diagnosis is very not great. Grade one is not good

in the first place. It's the lowest grade, but having a grade in the first place is not great.

And having a grade one plus means that it's edging towards a grade two strain. So Pasquantino's

opening day readiness is up in the air right now. Though, as I said, he's doing everything he can to be ready for opening day.

If he were to miss time, we'd likely see Mark Kana play first base for the Royals.

If that wasn't the avenue they'd like to go down, we could see Salvador Perez shift from catcher to first base and have Freddie Fermin fill in behind the plate.

But it's more likely that I think Canna fills in at first base.

But we'll see what happens on opening day.

Sticking in the AL Central, let's discuss the Tigers.
