I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. Sentencing in a massive rape case out of France,

Dominique Pelico was convicted of aggravated rape and other charges and sentenced to the maximum of 20 years in prison after the 72-year-old admitted to drugging his wife for almost a decade and inviting upwards of 70 strangers he met on the internet to join him in violating her as she laid unconscious, recording the encounters. The court also convicted 50 other

defendants ranging in age from 26 to 74, mostly on rape charges. The case came to light in

2020 when Pelico was caught trying to take pictures up the skirts of women in the supermarket.

Police found tens of thousands of photos and videos on his computer showing the abuse of his wife

and pictures of his

daughter and daughters-in-law. Pelico's wife, Giselle, divorced him and wanted the trial to be

made public, demanding videos of the abuse be played in court, hoping it would inspire other

women to speak up. She's been hailed a hero. There's more on this story at foxnews.com or
