James received several awards, unit citation, class 2 & 3 medals along with the community service & heroism award from firehouse magazine. James was also involved in the NBC special as they rode with Rescue 4 taking in runs, including the plane crash in the rockaways and a scaffold collapse in Manhattan. We will get the whole skinny.
