Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to the podcast for your friends, Maddie and Lauren.

And we are back for another episode. We are IRL in person. Lauren is here. And we're back.

We're going to talk about all the things. I feel like it's been a while, but we have a lot of catching up to do.

So take it away. Yes. Let's start off with a little life update. I'm trying to think

of the last life update that I gave on the podcast and I feel like it was when I was back at school.

So I am home now. As many mentioned, we are recording together in person today, but I've been home for a while now.

I finished my exams. I came back to the LA house for like a day,

and then I went to Toronto for a week or so, and I caught up with some of my friends from high school.

It was really nice to see everyone. I went back to my high school for the first time since graduating,

which was fun, and I got to see see all my teachers. I went for coffee

with one of my teachers, one of my English teacher from grade 12, who I loved. But yeah,

it was just really great to see everyone catch up. And now I'm back in L.A. and we are not really doing too much.

We're getting into the holiday spirit, you could say.

Tonight we have plans to decorate our tree and, yeah, just get ready for Christmas.

But we've been doing a lot of nothing around here, watching movies, hanging out as a family, and that's

about it. Yeah, it's not really feeling like the holiday vibes, I would say, but we're not really

decorators, like home decorators. So maybe that's why, I don't know. Also, the weather does not

help. It's been raining, and I feel like it just doesn't

really feel like the holidays. But like I said, we're not decorators and our Christmas tree

remains undecrated on the 23rd of December. So I feel like that will help a lot when you get your

ornaments up tonight. Do you want to talk a little bit about your trip?
