Summary

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode our host, Ally Yost, begins by leading us in communion together. Communion is a beautiful way for us to "slow down" and just be with Jesus - He is worthy of all of our honor and praise. We then read through 1 Corinthians as we talk about gifts of the Spirit, what they are, and how they operate through us. "A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other." 1 Corinthians 12:7 ☆ SUBSCRIBE TO OUR PATREON ☆ : https://patreon.com/CWCOI  If you would like to give to CWCOI and financially support the podcast, you can do so here ! ➤ https://www.paypal.me/CWCOI _____________________________________________  Connect further with us ! day of life. We did communion a few weeks ago and I, it was at the end of season three and I loved that. I loved that and I might continue to make it a thing here on the podcast so just know to always

keep some grape juice or some cranberry juice and bread nearby because I would love to make this a thing and I think

1:18.6

the importance of taking communion is it just really brings us to a heart posture of gratitude and I feel like it's a really beautiful way to just kind of zoom out and take a moment to stop.

1:31.0

Just stop. Actually, that's just the end of the sentence.

1:35.1

And just take a moment to stop.

1:36.9

I think there's something so beautiful in that, just kind of stopping, slowing down,

but it was only ever in like circumstances of maybe going to like a Catholic church with one of my friends or something like random.

2:09.0

I wasn't raised Catholic, but that was pretty much the only times I would take communion or maybe a couple

times at church for holidays.

2:16.9

And because only the real times I would go to church growing up was on the holidays, I guess I just

kind of associated communion with just special occasions like a
