Last year, we saw a record-breaking number of cases of dengue fever, so here's what you need to know in terms of the numbers, the symptoms, and how to prevent it.

Overall, last year, 10,000 more infections than we typically see, or 10,000 plus. The symptoms

of dengue fever often include fever, headache, muscle, and joint pain, and that can elapse into a rash.

It typically starts about five to seven days after the infection,
