0:39.3	foster moms, but both with a little different spin on it. Kayla, tell our podcast friends a little
0:45.4	bit about yourself. Well, Meredith, I am so excited to be here with you today. This is such an
0:50.6	important conversation and I'm so glad we're having it together. I've had a passion for foster care and adoption since a young age.
0:58.4	And my husband and I actually stepped into foster just a few years ago and got our license.
1:04.1	We're connected to an amazing organization.
1:07.2	And that same weekend that we got our license, we actually received the first call for a placement.
1:13.8	Oh, boy.
1:15.3	But just a few years later, we're so grateful.
1:19.6	We're now the legal guardians of our first placement, which is so cool to say.
1:23.9	But it's just an amazing journey that God's been taking us on.
1:27.2	And it hasn't been easy. But I'm so journey that God's been taking us on. And it hasn't been easy,
