Summary

Pastor Ben Stuart // There’s a tendency in God to chase us and give us life, not because of something beautiful in us; because of something beautiful in him. — That the thing about a gift. Whether you feel worthy or not doesn’t matter. God's love is not motivated by or contingent upon your worthiness, after all, grace is when undeserving people receive an unbelievable gift from an unobligated giver. — Grace is a gift, and to honor the Giver we have to not only accept, but enjoy the gift.

Well I grew up in Houston, Texas and in Houston it's essential to drive a car.

0:30.4

Houston is very big, very wide, very hot and so if you're going to exist in that

world you have to own a car. And so growing up for me though vehicularily speaking,

miles an hour. So when you put in, you had to be ready to go. It also had a very

loose steering wheel. So if you wanted to turn you had to get started early and

1:01.3

then you better midway through start working it backwards because you were

going to hit the curb. It also honked every time it turned left which was

1:07.4

awkward because I lived near a middle school and I would drive home as they were

getting out and I scared a lot of middle school girls. I had an all-am radio and

1:16.1

I had it rained in the car so you just really didn't want to touch the back seat.

1:19.1

Driver's side door didn't open so it was interesting to get in. I had two

1:22.8

options to slide through the window or to open the passenger side and crawl

1:26.2

through. I remember the first time I gave a cute girl a ride home from high

1:29.3

school. I opened the passenger side door and she went, oh and started to get in

1:33.0

and I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, dove in and there was like, okay now you can come.

1:36.3

All right. Turns out that the previous owner had driven it in a flood and so
