Summary

She was running late, stuck with a tire light flashing and no quarters for the air machine. Maybe she shouldn’t have cursed at the universe, but apparently a certain grandmother on the other side took pity—and left six shiny coins right where she needed them. Days later, when she reached for an extra piece of crispy bacon, it literally flew off the plate and skid across the kitchen floor, as though someone had decided enough was enough with the greasy indulgences. Top it all off with strangers shifting age before her very eyes, and she’s left wondering if her late grandmother is sending warnings—both about her health and about reality’s flimsy seams.
